Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method,  a globally recognized sustainability assessment method and certification system for the built environment. It assesses the sustainability of buildings and infrastructure across various stages, including design, construction, and operation, focusing on environmental and social impacts. The issue is BREEAM does not account for external shading in the correct way.
